Typewritten letter to Richard Jess Brown on letterhead of the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, dated May 26, 1950. Carter gives instructions to Brown, who has not received a contract to teach the following year from the Jackson, Mississippi, school board. Typewritten memo to W.A. Bender, A.J. Noel, and A.L. Johnson about a new intervening plaintiff.
