Description	From the Rankin (Annie) Papers. Three-page handwritten letter signed Judge and Annie Rankin to Frank and Caroline [Stewart] dated May 28, 1969. Rankin writes about the organization of a Head Start facility in Jefferson County, where 400 children age three and under were identified, and the need for jobs for the mothers of these children. She writes her thoughts about Fayette, Mississippi's African American mayor, Charles Evers, and finishes with a poem.
